Who is behind DeliveryGuard

Hi, I'm Bogdan, founder of DeliveryGuard.

As an online seller, I personally faced one of the biggest problems in COD (cash-on-delivery) sales — customers who order but then don't pick up the package. Every such situation means lost money on shipping costs and tied-up inventory. In the Balkans region, the rate of non-picked-up shipments reaches as high as 20-30%, representing a massive financial loss for sellers.

In 2026, I founded DeliveryGuard LLC with one goal: to provide online sellers in the Balkans with protection against non-picked-up packages through a simple system that works — the customer leaves a card as a guarantee, the seller ships with confidence.

DeliveryGuard is intended for sellers from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Slovenia.

What We Do

DeliveryGuard provides a SaaS platform to protect online sellers from financial losses caused by non-picked-up shipments with cash on delivery (COD) payment.

Our platform works by:

  • The seller creates a financial confirmation for each COD order
  • The buyer authorizes a temporary card hold
  • If the buyer picks up the package — the hold is automatically released
  • If the buyer doesn't pick up the package — the hold is charged to compensate for shipping costs

All transactions are processed through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.

Business Model

DeliveryGuard LLC charges a monthly subscription for platform access (SaaS model). Plans range from a free trial plan to a Pro plan for high-volume sellers.

The company is registered in the United States (Wyoming) and operates globally, with a focus on Southeast European markets.
