Seller Data

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Business information (name, website)

Customer Data

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address (optional)
  • Last 4 digits of card

2. How We Use Data

We use collected data exclusively for:

  • Processing financial guarantees (card hold and charging)
  • Sending email notifications related to confirmation status
  • Communication with users regarding the platform
  • Improving user experience and platform functionality

We never sell your data to third parties and do not use it for marketing purposes without your consent.

Legal basis for processing:

  • Performance of contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) — processing necessary to provide the DeliveryGuard service and manage your account.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement.
  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for analytics cookies where you have given explicit consent.

3. Data Protection (GDPR)

In accordance with GDPR regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access — view the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data
  • Portability — receive a copy of your data in a readable format
  • Lodge a complaint — you have the right to complain to your national Data Protection Authority. In the EU: your national DPA. In Serbia: Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

4. Payments & Stripe

All transactions are processed through Stripe, a leading global payment processor.

Customer card data is never stored on our servers. All card data is sent directly to Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of security in the payment processing industry.

We only store the last 4 digits and card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) for transaction identification purposes.

5. Third Parties We Share Data With

We do not sell your data to third parties.

International data transfers:

Most of our data is processed within the European Union. Some data may be transferred to the United States (Stripe, Vercel, Sentry), which have appropriate data protection safeguards through GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

6. Data Retention

  • Account data — retained while account is active; deleted within 30 days of account closure.
  • Financial records (transactions, payouts) — 7 years in accordance with accounting regulations.
  • Guarantee data — 2 years after expiry.
  • Analytics data (PostHog) — 12 months.
  • Log files — 90 days.
  • Email communications — 2 years.
